No, not that Jesus.
Finally I got to see my Caitles! Saturday night, she picked me up and we went down to Virginia Beach. I told her before that I really wanted to go to Plaza (mmm white sauce and margaritas!) so we went there for dinner. We had a very cute server. We don't know his name, but at some point in the evening Caitlin dubbed him Jésus. We ordered jumbo margaritas, but Jésus suggested we try blue margaritas, so we agreed to try them. They were typical Plaza margaritas--full of tequila. I pretty much gorged myself on chips and white sauce until our food came. I was already feeling the effects of my drink (which I had only drank half of) when Jésus came back and tried to convince us to order more margaritas. We didn't say yes, but for some reason he came back with one for us. He was also hanging around our table a lot talking to us. Clearly, he was flirting with Caitlin. Eventually he left us in peace, so I could finish eating. Caitlin told me she would pay for my dinner if I finished both margaritas. And I did, even though Monday night's adventure was still fresh in my mind. But I was fine. So we finished up and left. As we were walking through the parking lot, Jésus came through the back door onto the outside deck and called to Caitlin. He asked if she was single, and Caitlin flashed her ring and told him that he had served her with Victor before. Then she told Jésus that I was single, but I immediately replied that I live in Boston, although clearly he was not interested in me. So he went back inside, and we laughed about him in the car. Because really, who wants to date a guy that works at Plaza and is probably illegal...even if he is super cute.
So we headed back to Caitlin's house. As soon as we were in the door, Caitlin told me to tell Victor what happened with Jésus because she wanted to make him jealous. He didn't really seem to care that much. Caitlin and I got ready to go out, then Victor drove us to Caitlin's friend's house. We hung out there waiting for some people to show up before we headed to Ambush. We were about to leave when Caitlin realized she didn't have her ID, so she called Victor and he brought it over (grudgingly). We crammed into Caitlin's friends car, and since there were 6 of us, Caitlin laid across the people in the back seat. On the way there, Caitlin's friend was telling us how she and some other girls picked up a male dancer from Ambush one time. I jokingly asked if it was Stetson, and she said it was. Stetson is pretty much the worst male dancer....because he can't dance. I saw him the first time the summer after my freshman year, and he is still dancing at gay clubs. So we got there, and Caitlin and I sat at the bar while everyone else played pool. I got a drink but I drank it really slowly because I was still a little buzzed from Plaza. We were there about an hour before the drag show started. I was looking around for people I knew, but I didn't see anyone. Around midnight we grabbed a table to watch the show. Sandra Lopez, a drag queen I hadn't seen before was hosting. She was good, but no Naomi Black. There was also a rail-thin Vietnamese queen who I think I have seen before. The show was good. Sandra Lopez told Caitlin she liked her boobs and got a little squeeze in too. Caitlin told her she wore an A cup, and Sandra said she must be wearing a really nice bra. Sandra also saw mine from the stage and came over to our table to get a feel. Typical...I go to a gay club and get felt up by a guy. I also had the opportunity to hand a queen money between her legs. How does this shit happen to me??
So that night was pretty awesome. Afterward, Victor picked us up from Caitlin's friend's house and I spent the night there. I like staying at their house, because I get to spend time with my Caitles and play with her crazy cats. But I've realized they are the reason that I probably will not get married. They argue so much! Caitlin swears they are happy together though so whatever. The next morning Victor got us breakfast at Panera. Then they were going to Stafford, so they dropped me off at my house on the way there. I was really sad to say goodbye to Caitlin because I don't know when I'll see her next. I guess we are planning a trip to Provincetown in the summer, or maybe I will go down to Virginia Beach. I'm hoping for Provincetown, but either way I can't wait to see her again!
